Why is the poll for "Cities with best food in U.S."?

I think this is more of a factual question than an opinionated one.

However, the city that certainly feels like it has the worst air pollution to me is definitely Los Angeles. The smog mixed with the blaring sun, however, is what gives the city a resilient image that many people think is oddly beautiful.

LA, no question. And it's not entirely its own fault - its topography does not help at all.

Atlanta should be on the list. I think it actually has pollution (or at least smog/haze) to rival LA. Very visible when you fly in, and having lived there, in the summertime there are days where visibility is almost as bad as straight up fog. Being inland does not help it (not to mention there are so many contributing polluters in addition to the highways/cars - the two largest coal-fired power plants in the country are within 50-100 miles of the city on either side!).

Those are really the only two cities where I've witnessed/experienced "bad" pollution in the US. Perhaps I'd add DC or Houston (where are THEY on this list?)/

LAs air quality is much better than it used to be. I actually find the Central Valley to be far worse than LA.
