Well there are some southern areas in central Texas as well such as hearne and Florence it's not east Texas southern like lufkin or Tyler but a southern presence can really be felt. Some parts of central Texas I feel right at home.

Houston. It's really nowhere near as bad as people try to make it seem on here. I'm willing to bet most people don't even know what Houston is really like in person. I don't get how a place could offer so much, yet get talked down on like it's the worst place on Earth. lol

All these places don't really deserve as much hate as they get though. Miami should be replaced with Atlanta. I would have said LA, but there's been a massive shift of opinion regarding LA on here, I've noticed.

So there is hope that Houston will one day be appreciated for what it is, and not be the object of ridicule and scorn ? YEA!

It's very possible. I never would have imagined LA to win a poll on here back then. Although people do still hate on LA, they at least give credit where it's due now. Let's pray the same happens for Houston

1. Atlanta
2. Phoenix
3. Houston
4. Dallas

I don't really see Miami being hated nearly as much as these 4.

I don't know where you've been, maybe because you're not from Miami or live here, you don't notice the negativity of CDers towards Miami. There is this widely common census here Miami is not a livable city.

1) Miami vs Atlanta (Miami vs Atlanta?) Miami loses
2) Miami vs Phoenix ... Can't find except climate battles, maybe a thread to start
3) Miami vs Houston (Miami Vs. Houston) Miami loses
4) Miami vs Dallas (Miami versus Dallas) no poll, but I bet if you have the patience to read through the comments you'd see endless Miami bashing

So people got in their heads we're all uneducated, rude, self centered, criminals, don't speak English and most of all Miami isn't livable, it's rather a third world slum only fit for vacation.

All Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Phoenix deal with is they're sprawly, in the south, too conservative, etc etc

Maybe it's a sunbelt thing.
Huh? How are New Orleans and Orlando abused on here?

But I'd definitely say Miami. I don't like Miami, but I would never go as far as some of the comments on here do.
