We get about 50" per year where I live, and from my perspective that is a little on the wimpy side. But I compare our weather to the northern/western parts of MI that get can easily get 100" of snow in a winter season (or 200" in the upper peninsula). To me, that is what qualifies as a LOT of snow (and I would love it). 25" would be a very disappointing winter.
Or when you compare it to some western ski resorts that get 350-600 inches per year. THATS a LOT of snow.

As I get older, I hate the snow. I could wear shorts and enjoy the heat every day.
