Best Schools,Economy,Job outlook,Family friendly,Pet friendly,Lowest Crime,More space for my money.

In that order. Schools need to be really good especially for a special ed student (behavior problems) and needs structured small classroom. We wouldn't want to live IN one of the cities but outside of it within 20 miles of the city.

Think Nashville is to far west for us...So Knoxville vs Roanoke....
