okay, that would be impossible. I look at maps dozens of times a day. i do have a full time job. I used to smoke alot of weed, but its been over a month. I mean, okay LA is not southern in the sense that it supported slavery back in the day, but then again, there was no LA back then (esp. before that aqueduct project). LA is not conservative, although nearby orange county is the 2nd largest republican majority county in the us, i believe after Phoenix's Maricopa. But LA is always bashed on because it lacks alot of skyscrapers for its size, low use of transit and low density in the city proper. Look at most other southern cities (using my formula). Alot of them have those characteristics. In fact, people really think Seattle (where i live) is more vibrant than Los Angeles. Seattle is like 1/6 of the population and it's regarded more city like than LA. Some people even compare minneapolis to los angeles. Does Phoenix or San Diego ever get compared to New York like that? well, maybe in freeway miles.
Okay, i should've said there was no LA back then in the sense that we know today. LA was founded by Spaniards, since that area was not colonized by the USA. Mexico inherited it in September 1821. Then it became a part of the us in i believe 1848. No Wikipedia, just my memory.
Out of the ones on the list, Nashville. But in reality, I'd say Charlotte.
Charlotte is already there.
