Don't see how that's relevant, I'm just saying that they are more numerous in cities and have more of a stranglehold on city hall type politics than they do on state politics. I wouldn't know no care about the prescense of gays because I don't knowingly associate in those circles.

One would be hard pressed to consider people of color having a stranglehold on either city or county politics. There were incidents with the county a few years back that raised concerns, You could google Ragsdale and lobster dinner; Finch and sorority if you want to wallow in the muck. Since that time we've elected reform minded mayors in both the city and county.

Hipsters don't seem much concerned with politics beyond lobbying for chickens in the city.
