I like Raleigh a lot too. But I've not spent too much time there. So I dont include cities I love if I've never spent any time there.

I'd compare Orlando more to Charlotte than Raleigh.

The comparison between Greenville, SC and Orlando is like comparing apples and oranges.

Good point about heat and humidity and I suppose it wouldn't be for as long as say Orlando. Still though, 87, 89 and 88 for daily highs during summer is only about a degree or two cooler than Orlando and it struck me most of the southeast apart from the smokies was very humid, perhaps that's just me. I do agree the winters look pretty nice.

The Carolinas also has lots of movies being filmed there. That's what made me visit in the first place. The Hunger Games, Homeland, etc.

Yeah I just went to Charlotte and Asheville. Raleigh looks like a place I would enjoy. Publix is also expanding up there.

As far as the heat/humidity goes and that being a factor between living in the two states, ever since I've been back in Florida I've been going for 5-mile walks in the middle of the afternoon like it's nothing. I still don't like the humidity, but after not being able to stand it growing up here in FL, I'm beginning to somewhat adjust to it.

Asheville has 2 Publix's already. Greenville SC too. Publix is all over due to the Floridians.

Yeah I noticed there are only a couple in each city. In Florida, you can't go 2-3 miles without seeing one.
