It's #2 compared to LA. I don't know why people are taking that as a knock.

Okay, you're splitting hairs. Huntsville Metro is only 6,000 more people than Mobile. And Huntsville wouldn't have an economy worth noticing if it wasn't for the federal Space funding there. Not to mention Mobile is waterfront and twice as dense as Huntsville.

San Francisco is definitely number 2 in California, and farther down the line on a national level. Your reasoning why San Francisco is better than LA or is more gazillionaires per capita?

I like Mobile, too (the waterfront, bay, and general area are very underrated in beauty IMO, but this thread is not about which is more beautiful. We can shoulda, woulda, coulda all day, you can't change what you want to about a city to make it fit your narrative. I wouldn't base my conclusion on a pretty waterfront or taller skyscrapers. Huntsville's metro is larger, has a much higher GDP, and is growing faster.

All of this is true about Huntsville and yet it is surprisingly under the radar nationally. I think because of that notoriety factor I'd still put Montgomery or Mobile ahead of it.

I can't believe you all took my post seriously especially when I used the fictitious word "gazillionaire" LOL.

So ColdAilment, how many gazillionaires does LA even have? lol

Wrong. The Bay Area is richer, wealthier, more affluent, pick any adjective you like.

Nope, same as above. Pick any adjective you like. The Bay Area is more.
