I'm going to get bashed for this, but I'm just going to come out and say it: At least people on the east coast can think for themselves and aren't media machines. The average Californian is not that smart, I'm sorry to admit it. You can tell by the way they speak, "where it's at" "where it's at". If I hear "where it's at" one more time... For god sakes, they have 5 periods a day in high school for studies and their 6, 7 periods can be used to play a sport. This is unheard of in Maryland. Note I said average, so before you all go "wawawa" please consider the average Californian. Meaning the girl at the grocery store, or the aspiring actor from LA, or him or her. Everywhere.
Considering the "average idiot aspiring actor" is a transplant, just bag my groceries. Have a nice day.

FTR I Have lived in LA, but I am far from a super fan of the city, I live behind the dreaded OC curtain, but without personal bias I can easily state LA is a mega city that can compete with Chicago or any US city not named New York. After my last few drinks not sure that I am qualified to feed the trolls.

Really? What else do we need to understand?

You have to be kidding/trolling. LA is a more of an "mega city" than Chicago.

As much as I like LA and California cities, only SF can even begin to compete with East Coast cities in terms of being an actual city.
15k density? The Los Angeles region has 1.9 residents living above 20k densities. That's more than the combined population of Washington DC and Fairfax County.

Yup, and I bet even they know how to properly use the word "desolate" in a sentence.
