Which city is better in terms of dating/making friends for a SWF, early 30's?
The obvious answer is Chicago, however after some research it seems like Chicago might have more people who are mostly interested in casual encounters, more drifters and players.
Also, I keep on hearing that the female-male ratio in Chicago is overwhelmingly in men's favor.
I'd prefer to live in a city with well-educated, worldly, career-minded population. Chicago seems like a much more interesting city, but I will have better career prospects in Minneapolis.
From living in both, I would say its about even. More women in Chicago, but less competition in Minneapolis.
