Georgia by a mile.Aint even close for me.Oregon is a beautiful state and its a lot more progressive than Georgia but is location, weather, cost of living are more in Georgia favor than Oregon.

Oregon you got Seattle,Vancouver and Victoria.
Georgia you got Nashville,Savannah,New Orleans,Memphis,Chattanooga,Charlotte, by car and more options for air travel to several cities within a 2 hr fault.

Culture-You have great food, music like Blues,Country,Hip Hop and Gospel.
BBQ,Cajun and Soul Food

Economy goes to Georgia to by far. Most jobs created by far.Even the region in the South is creating more jobs like manufacturing plants that tend to be located well away from the big cities.Especially the car plants.Wihin 4 hour from Georgia in any direction you will hit some car manufacturing or some typ of mechanical manufacturing plant

Nature is ALL Oregon but Georgia is hardly a sloch with the Appalachian trail and its Golden Isles

I'd say Georgia by a medium to large margin. It also kinda depends where in Oregon we are talking about. I'm pretty sure the climates can be fairly different if you are near the coast compared to near the Idaho border.

Weather - Subjective, but generally, I'd prefer Georgia. Hot, and humid summers, but you do get 4 true seasons and the winters aren't bad at all. If you live near the coast in Oregon though, I'd give Oregon the edge here.

Nature - Have to give Oregon a slight edge here, but Georgia is probably underrated. Has several nice lakes, the north Georgia mountains, and its beaches while not fantastic are certainly better than Oregon's. Also a very short drive to some really great beaches in neighboring states.

Culture - Completely subjective. Also, kind of a loaded question. Oregon is obviously more liberal and progressive, but I'd say Georgia has more "culture". The question is... is it the kind of culture you want?

Cities - Georgia. Atlanta has more to offer than Portland and beyond that, there really isn't a whole lot in either state other than Savannah which is quite charming.

Economy - Georgia by a pretty good bit but I guess it could depend on what field you are in.

Weather: Oregon
Nature: Oregon
Culture: Georgia
Cities: Georgia
Economy: Georgia

I love the food and the microbreweries in Portland, specifically in Downtown and the adjacent Pearl District. But I sense a weird desperation in cities South of Portland like Eugene and "Methford" and, ultimately, I think Atlanta is a greater city than Portland. And I think Savannah is a greater city than any other city in Oregon besides Portland. By many metrics, I think Savannah is greater than Portland too.

Overall: Georgia
