You do mean KC MO? right? not KC KS? I choose KC MO, It has a more interesting downtown and diverse population of neighborhoods. I also like how you can wake up early and take a day trip to the Colorado rockies.

Both of them because I meant metro area which is why it says take into consideration suburbs etc

Well if you want to be specific, I have to say KC KS is still a city not a burb of KC MO. KC KS has it's own downtown as well and its own identity.

Haven't been to either but to visit or I guess even live Kansas City would be an easy answer almost by default. My impression is that Kansas City has a good amount of soul and has for quite some time, and OKC just seems to be in the early stages of getting a footing in the big city leagues.

Weather - Kansas City
Economy - Kansas City
Open Mindness - Kansas City
Walkability - Kansas City
Cost of living - Tie
Downtown - Kansas City
Suburbs - Kansas City

Kansas City is in a league far above OKC. There really is no comparison at all other than natural terrain. Kansas City's peers are St. Louis, Indianapolis, Charlotte, and Pittsburgh.

OKC is better compared with nearby Tulsa, Wichita, Omaha, and Little Rock.

None of those cities have anything in common other than metropolitan population. If that's the way you define your "leagues", then so be it.
