It seems that the "non-hispanic white" population in the U.S. is getting more and more outnumbered these days. Go to a place like Los Angeles or Miami and you'll see this first-hand! It's not like the 1950's or 1960's anymore. With all of the immigration that is happening and higher non-white birth rates I say within 20 years the "white" population is going to be a true minority in the U.S. by then.

So I just looked at the metro areas with a population of over 1,000,000 people. I found these places which had the highest % of non-hispanic white residents.

Here they are...

Pittsburgh, PA MSA
Cincinnati, OH-KY-IN MSA
Grand Rapids-Wyoming, MI MSA
Buffalo-Cheektowaga-Niagara Falls, NY MSA
Providence-Warwick, RI-MA MSA
Louisville/Jefferson County, KY-IN MSA
Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, MN-WI MSA
Rochester, NY MSA
Columbus, OH MSA
Portland-Vancouver-Hillsboro, OR-WA MSA

Now out of those 10 large metros, what one do you think would be best to live in?

The criteria for ranking would be…

- Ambience
- Housing
- Jobs
- Transportation
- Education
- Health care
- Recreation
- Climate
- Crime
- Quality of life

If you're seriously going for the most whitest, I'd go with Providence-Warwick, RI-MA MSA ------ OR somewhere else in Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, etc. Lots of small, sleepy New England towns are almost totally white to the point someone of color stands out like a sore thumb.

Aren't Austin, Portland, and Seattle pretty white cities? And they are considered some of the "coolest" by many.

Most places in NE PA are like that, though there is a very obvious dividing line in the region. Ex: Honesdale, Hawley, Milford, Hamlin: all white towns. Mt Pocono, Stroudsburg, Tannersville: Not so much.

Well, having lived in a couple of them already, I choose Minneapolis-St. Paul...but it has nothing to do with its white, non-hispanic population -- it's just a great city.

Why Seattle isn't avaiable as an option? That would be my answer.

Smh
Your 'thoughts' are sporadic, are not indicative of anything and are certainly not original or informative as we could all hear similar sentiments scanning AM & XM radio frequencies across America (or read them on the Facebook farewell messages of past and future chemically unbalanced mass murderers)..

EDIT: oh everything has been deleted, oh well

I think the 3 leading the poll would be my picks. Portland and the PNW interests me. My second pick would be Pittsburgh but from what I hear you better bring a job with you.

Yes, and they are extremely prejudice as well.
