Thanks for replying. As far as adult entertainment, I'm not referring to bars... Not at all. I'm trying to find out which city is best for someone who's trying to get their freak on.

Food - RDU or perhaps Charlotte - I've never had a truly bad meal in Charlotte.

Cost of living - Charlotte or Tampa - FL has no state income tax

Traffic - Charlotte

Job market - Raleigh-Durham or Charlotte by the numbers - all are pretty strong.

Single females - Probably Tampa

People - I think Charlotte still remains a lot of Southern charm.

Quality of living - To me, Tampa

Weather - Tampa Bay

Adult entertainment - Probably Tampa or Orlando

Surrounding cities - Charlotte - reasonably close to Raleigh, Asheville, SC, and Atlanta.

Saw a documentary a couple years ago and it said Tampa was the number 1 swinger city in the States.

Which city has the best;

Food - Orlando and Tampa hands down. Great Cuban in both cities with the edge going to Tampa. There's this 24 hour a day counter service place I go everytime I'm heading to the Pinellas Beaches. Also steakhouses go to Tampa. Ultra fine dining go to Orlando with Victoria & Alberts being one of the best anywhere. Other Orlando standouts, The Ravenous Pig, Citrus, Jiko.

Cost of living - They are all very close, I'm sure a nurse for example lives about the same in all these cities.

Traffic - I ride the train, so traffic is not as big of a deal.

Job market - All the numbers say not Florida, so I'll agree with that. However, we have been coming back strong and for most professions, life is good here.

Single females - Oh boy...

People - Orlando and Tampa again, can't stand Southern Hospitality.

Quality of living - Florida easily. Orlando might eek out Tampa in entertainment, but Tampa Bay is lovely and has the beachy vibe.

Weather - Florida cities win again. I've lived in the Carolinas and let me tell you, winter sucks. Sure it's not Chicago, but dead trees and longsleeves from November to April, no thanks. Give me green, warm, and sunny anyday. Tampa beats Orlando with a nice sea breeze and Orlando beats Tampa with semi-tropical climate without the unnecessary proximity to where hurricanes make landfall.

Adult entertainment - This should be achievable in all these places, people are freaks everywhere.

Surrounding cities - Orlando all day. We've got Miami, Tampa, St. Augustine, Daytona, Cocoa Beach, and the Keys within a few hours drive. Charlotte has nothing, same with Raleigh.
