I go to college in West Virginia, and I love it. It's a great state and the people are friendly. Had to go with WV.

When I lived in West Virginia in the 1970s, many people complained about the roads there. 10 years later, I moved to Michigan and learned about really crappy roads.

Weather: West Virginia
Culture: Michigan
Activities: For whom??? (I suppose Michigan)
Single Life/Married Life: Is what you make it
Economy: Michigan
Education: Michigan
Cost of Living: West Virginia
Quality of Living: (for the average resident) Michigan
Scenic/Natural Beauty: West Virginia

So, mostly Michigan, but at the same time, West Virginia as with any place has many fantastic features. I would say that one of the places at the top of my list to eventually work at is to live in Morgantown and work at West Virginia University. The quality of living and everything about doing that would be outstanding.
