Vegas for me any day of the week. Maybe you need to think again because LV is known for its world class dining, shows, mob culture, shopping, night life and a upcoming arena hosting a professional sports team. Downtown LV has a lot of culture do to it's early history. You can go up to the LV ski resort which is only 45min away, Hoover dam, lake mead, red rock canyon and lots more.

No... Most people here have no problem with Vegas at all.

The problem is the people on this site who BOOST the hell out of that city to the point of where it gets annoying and even exaggerating/unrealistic at times.

Honestly, if Vegas didn't have the few people that do that, it would just be walked all over on here. Las Vegas has so much to offer. Is beautiful, entertaining, has world class attractions, amazing food, excellent shopping, etc, yet it's talked down on like the whole city is just the worst thing on earth.

Although it may not be the best place to live it still offers so much (imo).

No, HOUSTON is talked down on like the whole city is just the worst thing on earth.

What I keep getting from these people is that Las Vegas is just this flawless paradise and that it is much more of a city than certain other towns that actually have just as much or even more to offer.

That's where the annoyance on the Las Vegas side comes from. Truth be told, I really don't see that many people talking down on Vegas unless one of their boosters starts talking trash, first.

I think everyone should visit Vegas at least once, but after that ..meh.. If have seen one casino, you have seen them all.

I much prefer the culture and cuisine of New Orleans, and have visited many times.

Vegas is becoming less and less about the casinos as each year passes.
