Seattle has been getting an enormous amount of exposure in Asia lately. A large part of our tourism is based off of Chinese tourists, in particular.

Very tough call. But I think I'd have to say Seattle.

All cool cities (with the exception of Phoenix maybe). None has a particularly large international profile, but agree with GatsbyGatz that Seattle wins with its ties to Asia.

None of these cities have an especially high international profile. There are just too many other, more prominent American cities to consider. However, Seattle, being a coastal city, definitely gets the most attention of the four.

What do you mean maybe? LOL...Either you know or you don't, so just own it. No surprise though since quite a few posters here on CD seem to believe they "maybe" know all about Phoenix...maybe...

I would think that Phoenix gets recognition for being near the Grand Canyon. Plus, as silly as it sounds, Seattle playing in multiple Super Bowls in recent years plus being in a state that legalized marijuana has to put it on the map on top of the other reasons it already has going for it.

Global city - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The global city index is an easy way to figure out this answer: There is a 3 way tie between Minneapolis, Seattle and Denver, with PHX slightly behind.

Actually, it isn't a tie. The cities are ranked in order within the various tiers. However, the OP asked specifically for popularity, as opposed to function, among these four cities.
