Those Atlanta "celebrities" you mentioned are poor nobodies.

Great thing about NYC is it doesn't even need celebrities, even though half of them live there. It's a shock half of them chose to live there, since their industry is 3,000 miles away in the first place.

This is who they have that L.A. lacks. A massive pool of truly rich people. Like real rich:

Top 10 U.S. Counties With The Most Millionaires

Interesting how L.A county & Orange county are number 1 & 3 in the most millionares.

I can sense some type of hate & jealousy towards California cities on here.

Now here's California with the most billionaires of any state in America & it surpasses any country in the world except the U.s & China .

Close thread
The reason for this is that NYC is made up of 5 small counties and the metro area consists of about 25 counties. Per capita, New York State has more millionaires than California which includes the Bay Area. NY State's millionaires are almost exclusively centered around one city. Factor in NJ and Fairfield County, CT and it's a wrap.

Joeyg,What city are you from ? I didn't notice you was trying to downplay the city until I skimmed through some of your post.

Don't be another one that bites the dust my guy,Beverly hills has the highest real estate on the market right now & bel airs just made history in setting a housing price for 500 million.

And about world cities, Los Angeles ranks number 6 in world most powerful economies,Now that's in a shorter amount of time than every other city on that list.

LA + Bay Area + Chicago combined don't even come close to NYC in terms of millionaires.

Even then, Manhattan has thousands more people who earn $1mm per year than the entire LA County does, LOL. And this is from an the most official sources ever - California and New York Departments of Finance.

Taxpayers who earn $1 million and up

Manhattan: 18,952
Los Angeles County 13,891

Manhattan even has more than Los Angeles and Orange County combined

And Manhattan's population is tiny compared to those behemoths.

Population
Manhattan - 1,600,000
Los Angeles County + Orange County - 13,500,000

It's an even bigger catastrophic blowout once you add wealthy people in NYC's other boroughs and suburbs.

You do realize Buckhead is in Atlanta, not Hollywood, right? Probably not.

And the Hollywood celebrity population living in Buckhead, Georgia of all places is probably close to zero. Buckhead is pretty cheap compared to LA, and unbelievably cheap compared to NYC.

The most expensive house on the market currently is in Cote d’Azur in France. Does that make Cote d'Azur better than New York City?

6 of the top 10 most expensive houses/penthouses on the market are in NYC and only 2 in LA.
