In another thread the conversation on the Asian population got discussed regarding Asians presence ,Visibility and demographic in each metro.
Which of these Southern metros that have relatively small Asians(Indian,Pakistani,Korean,Chinese,Japanese,Vi etnamese, etc)but are visible in a somewhat significant way,Name communities or cities within the metros.

Which of these cities are lacking the most visibility and presence? Are there buinesses and resturants? Are there like "Chinatowns or Koretowns" or something similar"

Ive excluded Houston and Dallas because its accepted that these areas have more than other Southern metros

The Entire City of Sugar Land, it's like India, Pakistan, China, Vietnam all at once with a little of
Africa and a lot of America sprinkled in between.
But we excluded Houston from this list dang it. By the way "I am pretty sure H-town is arguably more Asian than Dallas as the largest Asian suburb in Dallas is Plano (269,000) with 17% Asian while Sugar Land has 34% Asian (110,000) and the entire Fort Bend County has 17% for 625,000 and growing by like 10,000 or more every year.

I voted for Atlanta.

This is pretty silly. It's ATL by a longshot. If Houston and Dallas are beyond this list, so is ATL.

Miami is ok...there's decent Asian communities but only because the metro is so big. Percentage-wise it is very low.
Orlando is #1 for FL. Best cuisine options, easily the highest density of Asians. Largest Chinese and Vietnamese communities in the state.
Tampa (not-listed) is almost as good as Orlando...imo it's just as good but lower percentage.
Jacksonville has a ton of Indians and Filipino...the largest Filipino population in the southeast. Viet population is sizable but not to the level of Orlando and Tampa.
New Orleans has, at least historically, a large Viet population. I am a big fan of Cajun/Viet restaurants. Anyway, I think that community has dwindled a little but there's still that strong connection.

Nashville seemed to lack quality Asian restaurants, and I believe the demographics for Asians are pretty low.
Can't speak to the rest of them on this list.

I agree, but I think the OP designed the poll in a way that ATL would win. I also tend to view Washington DC as a 'southern' city (I know this is a unpopular view on city data), so with that being said:

1)Washington DC (metro)
2)Houston (metro)
3)DFW metroplex
4)ATL metro
5)Orlando CSA
6)Austin CSA
7)Raleigh-Resarch Triangle
8)Miami metro
9)Charlotte CSA
10)Tampa Bay area

The rest of the south I don't know about, care about, or it just won't have that many asians period.

We have another smart guy here who doesn't see the "metro". And are you telling me you actually were in Charlotte? Miami metropolitan area (Port St Lucie - Miami) has something like 160,000 asians. The entire North Carolina has 250,000 asians.
