Which of these states do you think is best. Pretty Even Match up Here, and plus it has never been done on City Data to my knowledge

Both Have Cities on the Mississippi River and both have cities with Iconic things in them (Arch vs. Bourbon Street)

Which is more preferable to you

Basically I voted for Louisiana because NoLa is by far and away the best city in either state and it's easier access to beaches.

Why is Missouri winning this, (not saying it's a bad thing) But are people saying St Louis is Better than New Orleans. Kansas City over Nola? Is it because Missouri has Two major Cities and Louisiana has 1 (major being metro over a million). Just Curios for those who voted for Missouri

This a good one. For me I would say Missouri, specifically the Kansas City area. I love Louisiana as well as New Orleans, but couldn't live there.

Louisiana has way more culture and nicer location as a destination. It's the better one to visit.

To live in though, Missouri. No hurricanes for me.

Louisiana wins by default. Missouri is a terrible place.

You've obviously never been to Missouri.

Bland as a white-bread sandwich made of one piece of white bread stuffed between two other pieces or white bread.

No, wait that's Kansas...

All joking aside, Senor Nitpick, what I meant was more UNIQUE culture. Louisiana has the whole Cajun thing going for it, which is very culturally unique.

haha, yea Kansas is a different animal.

I LOVE NOLA, but only as a place to visit. I could live there for a short time just to soak in the New Orleans culture for a few years, but I feel Missouri with the KC and StL areas just offers a lot more as a place to live.

The whole state of Louisiana is ghetto/swampy/run down/poor

However I still love it.
