Upon closer observation, it seems that Sanford only handed 299K Int'l passengers, and with domestic a mere 2.4 million for 2014: Orlando Sanford International Airport - Annual Passenger Counts

As a point of comparison, Lambert (STL) served over 12 million passengers in 2014. A dehubbed, mid-tier midwest city: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamber...Annual_traffic

Because "knowing a lot about the industry" correlates you seeing an Icelandair plane on the ground at Sanford and saying to yourself "Duh? Uh, I bet that means a lot of passengers come through here unreported on charters." Because, with you being the expert and all, charter passengers don't count for total passengers in any way at all, right?

NOT. You are a savant idiot.
You couldn't be more obtuse if you tried, but I'm sure you wear that as a badge of honor.

The point is you were being completely foolish with your tirade regarding foreign carriers equating somehow to passengers carried, which is the most idiotic thing in the world. You were proven wrong, as pointed out by several.

Now you appear to be hell-bent on totally minimizing an Airport you have probably never heard of that happens to contribute to Orlando's international visitor numbers. Who gives a damn what they are, it contributes.

Lash out all you wish. This petulant brat schtick has becoming quite entertaining.

You are delusional if you think the number of foreign carriers translates to s*** when it comes to passenger numbers. Do some research yourself, and stop talking about the industry as if you had a clue.

You are correct that number of carriers doesn't transcend to higher visitor counts since those fewer carriers may offer higher frequencies. Still there is a reason why there are fewer carriers in Orlando because many legacy foreign carriers don't want to haul junk yield family vacation packages long haul. Orlando has the highest amount of Charter airlines than any U.S. Airport.

Los Angeles benefits to a degree having Disneyland adding to their overseas visitors. For the Bay Area having numbers that are close to Disneyworld is saying a lot.

Exactly.

Yet the European legacy carriers are there. As a major Pacific Rim gateway, San Francisco (and L.A.) have service and carriers that hardly ANY East Coast city enjoys other than NY with very few exceptions, and I don't see that ever changing. On the flip side, Orlando has service to Brazil that San Francisco doesn't.

It is saying a lot, and they are impressive numbers.
