The point being what, that people who live in Boston voted in this survey? That the weed up there messes with your spelling? Boston is very nice, but also somewhat overrated.

Boston is much safer, i dont care how urban it is if your going to get your car broken into, it happend to me 3 times on Michigan Ave. I had no electroinics at all in there, one time he/she stole a pack of gum, the other time a car radio, and the third time a setbuckle, BTW they were all in the Mag. mile area. each about 1/2 mile apart

That's an exaggeration. Boston has plenty of crime, Chicago is 15-20% worse, statistically. However your personal, anecdotal experience is not a proper measure. Some people get struck by lightning... twice. Chicago also has a larger black population which brings with it a statistical increase in crime, but that crime is isolated to certain impoverished neighborhoods, as has been discussed ad nauseum. Outside of those neighborhoods you are in no more peril in Chicago than you are in Boston. That's a fact.

Boston has a few niegborhood that are dangorous, like Chi. So about everywhere in chi. is 20% more dangerous than a comparable niegborhood in Chi. Also Cambridge (2 miles from DT.) had 0 murders which is equivant to Near north shore in Chi.

Dude, the greater Boston area is one of the safest cities in the entire country. Chicago is one of the best cities in this country, but unfortunately it's also one of the most dangerous.

That's correct. Crime for me is a deal breaker and Chicago has a long way to go to get in line with other big cities as it comes to crime stats.
Chita streets, even right in the loop, after all the offices close for the day is simply not safe. I am not going to provide any anectotal evidence - Chicago crime stats speak for themselves. Like I said crime is a deal breaker and no matter how scenic or urban the neighborhood is, if is not safe it is hard to enjoy it...
