This is City-Data. I know most people will vote for San Francisco on City-Data. City-Data is not the general public though. A lot of people who say they enjoy the cool or cold are nowhere to be seen outside in November.
I'm both a "city-data" person and a "real" person, and my vote on weather has nothing to do with the cities really (There are plenty of things I like/dislike about both). I find your post a little annoying/the opposite of what I see on here/reality though: there is constant talk about how everyone is moving south for the weather and how this love of four seasons stuff is nonsense (despite the millions upon millions who live in the north). Well sorry, but I do prefer four seasons and I sweat like crazy in heat and humidity, my SO feels the exact opposite as me so there's no reason to claim a big conspiracy, just accept different people like/tolerate different things.
Cold San Francisco summers: Think of how you feel when you step out of a scorching hot sun or steamy humidity, and into an air conditioned building. Instantly comfortable.
Well. That's much of the Bay Area right now.
In fact, people who drive in from the interior seem to breathe a sigh of relief as the get closer to the Bay and the temp falls with each mile west.
This is an unbelievably wonderful blessing. LA and SD have tgat too, but the cool down when one nears SF is just divine really.
We are so lucky.
Otoh...
FARMERS' ALMANAC: TOP FIVE CITIES WITH THE WORST WEATHER 1 Miami
2 New Orleans
3 Dallas
4 Mobile
5 Corpus Christi
On Miami, the FA says winters are pleasant, but as far as summers
There's no way Miami is going to win this poll on City-Data. City-Data generally has a bone to pick with Miami and loves SF because it's weird like them. They just love to say they "love the cool/cold weather," despite the fact that they will all be inside with the heat on in January.
Ask the general public in a place like Ohio or North Dakota though. Most would say Miami.
Not to pick on you again, but what is the deal with people saying everyone is against/hates on Miami, LA, NY, etc? Detroit, Cleveland, Baltimore, St. Louis, Cincy, and most of the none coastal areas in general, would like to have a word with you guys...
Did San Francisco just get its first summer thunderstorm (august 6) in recorded history during this warm epoch? It is extremely rare for them so many consecutive days with highs above 70 in August (3 or more consecutive days of 70+ are actually way more common in October or even early November in SF than in summer); normally, summer highs would be in the upper 50s to low 60s (what their lows have been this past week).
This past week in San Francisco (I bet the people there are loving this rarity)

Actually nobody liked it. People called 911 and the news reported like it was a disaster.
Miami Beach has a warm, tropical climate OUTSIDE of the tropics, which is a rarity on Earth, and thus all the benefits that come with it, including warm, balmy conditions during the dead of winter, as well as round-the-clock thunderstorms during the summer, allowing for superfluous tropical vegetation, and warm water beaches. While San Francisco mild temperatures, it is too devoid of summer rainfall and thunderstorms for my liking, much like the rest of California.
Round the clock thunderstorms and stifling humidity.
Actually people got all excited like they always do when it occurs and the news reported it with fascination asking people to send in their photos.
Yes, like earthquakes, mud slides, fires, etc.
