I'll say Seattle since I'd rather live in WA.

Oklahoma City, OK or Omaha, NE
Omaha, a city that never seems to get its' due.

Charleston, SC or Savannah, GA?

Charleston, though I'd be more than fine with either

Chicago, Illinois or Dallas, Texas?

Chicago. For a number of personal reasons.
Plus a bigger, more affluent city.

Houston or Phoenix?

Houston

Summers are miserable in both places, but Houston is greener, less arid, with more trees than Phoenix. Relatively low COL. Close to the Gulf Coast. Not too far from Austin & San Antonio. More urban amenities than Phoenix proper. Also has the Johnson Space Center which sent men to the moon back in 1969.

Sacramento, CA or San Antonio, TX?

Actually Phoenix has a lower COL:Moderator cut: link removed, linking to competitor sites is not ok

But anyways,
Sacramento because its more diverse and I prefer Sacramento's downtown and its scenic beauty; its proximity to SF, LA, Las Vegas even, etc. San Antonio just seems boring?

Boston or D.C. ?

Boston. I lived in the DC metro and let's just say it was a loveless marriage.

Jacksonville, FL or Norfolk, VA?

Harrisburg. I think I'd rather live in PA and Harrisburg just looks better IMO Albany is in decline.

Colorado Springs or Virginia Beach?

Colorado Springs

Close call. Have a good friend in CS that I have known since high school. Helps to have that when moving to a new area. Familiar with area from two prior visits. It is reasonably close to Denver. Has beauty especially to the west with Garden of the Gods Park, Manitou Springs, Pikes Peak summit a short train ride away. (If no friend in CS, may have just slightly favored VB with coastal location and proximity to DC/Richmond/historic sites, etc).

Spokane, WA or Syracuse, NY?
