Montclair. Reminds me of the type of bucolic town you would see in an old B&W movie or TV show.

Newport Beach, CA or Naples, FL?

Newport Beach, CA

Nice city by the Pacific coast with way more comfortable weather than south FL; can enjoy LA area amenities. Close to Laguna Beach. Not too far from San Diego either, a city I enjoy visiting & also know some people there. (If I had to live in south FL though, Naples would be one of the better choices).

Escondido, CA or Thousand Oaks, CA ?

Escondido. While I prefer Thousand Oaks' proximity to LA and Santa Barbara, it is very sprawling. Escondido has a downtown and convenient transit access to Oceanside and San Diego.

Hesperia, CA vs Buckeye, AZ
