Redmond, Oregon. I like that they're growing and I love desert environments which I didn't know Oregon had..

Conway, AR or San Marcos, TX?

San Marcos, TX

Similar size cities. San Marcos being close to Austin & San Antonio is preferable to Conway being close to Little Rock IMO. No state income tax in Texas.

Colorado Springs, CO or Grand Rapids, MI ?

Fayetteville, AR

Have heard some good things about Fayatteville and NW Arkansas on this forum and elsewhere. Think It would be more scenic, being in/near Ozarks region, than Tuscaloosa. Probably more transplant friendly, too. (Can't share People of Walmart jokes or pics, though. Too close to HQ. Minor inconvenience. ).

Beatrice, NE or River Falls, WI ?

OK, more than 24 hours since my post.

River Falls, WI

River Falls has a university (UW-River Falls). Very close to the beautiful St. Croix River valley. Prefer the forests/lakes in the region to the prairies around Beatrice. Know several people in WI & MN. Don't know anyone in NE. It is near the Twin Cities region which is preferable to Beatrice being near Lincoln IMO.

Newark, NJ or Salt Lake City, UT ?

That's a really touch choice based on location, but I'm going to have to pick SLC because the city itself is nicer than the city of Newark itself.

Providence, RI vs New Haven, CT
