Petaluma. While still being pretty boring suburbia, it's a really nice area and I have relatives there as well as nearby in the bay area. The commute out to the city is painful though, but probably not not as bad as how it would be all the way out in Poway.

Kansas City or St. Louis

Kansas City

The last few years have been very challenging for the St. Louis region. May have chosen STL a decade ago. The Ferguson riots a few years ago, worst since south central LA riots in 1992. St. Louis then lost its NFL team to LA, second time they have lost their NFL team to another city. That will never happen in KC. Sure I would like KC BBQ, too. Lawrence, KS is a nice college town close to KCMO. Have read several posts that KC residents are friendlier than STL residents.

Pasadena, CA or Scottsdale, AZ ?

Jacksonville. I'd prefer to be in a greener place that is close to the ocean. That river walk in Indianapolis is cool, but outside of that.... blehhh

Tucson, AZ or Greeley, CO

Sparks, NV

Reasonably close to Sacramento & Bay Area. Have always been able to set a limit gambling, so being near Reno is not an issue. Close to Reno's activities, retail, dining, etc.

Fort Lauderdale, FL or Fort Worth, TX ?
