Oakland, CA or Jersey City, NJ?
Oakland, CA

Am much more familiar with the Bay Area. Currently live about 2 hours south of Oakland. Have family & friends nearby in San Jose, Pleasanton & Sacramento. Oakland has better weather than Jersey City and has also made progress/improvements as a city in recent years.

Another CA vs. NJ choice:

Oceanside, CA or Toms River, NJ ?

Oceanside because it's on the ocean, instead of near the ocean.

Bellingham WA or Portsmouth NH?

Bellingham WA or Portsmouth NH?

I'm going to pick Portsmouth, because Bellingham is very, very hilly (though beautiful.)

St. Francisville, MS or Henderson, KY?

Henderson because I have family in Kentucky; also seems like the state is in (slightly) better shape than Mississippi

Austin, Texas or Miami, Florida?

Austin!

It has a decent climate and is close to the pretty Texas Hill Country.

Dubuque, Iowa or Eau Claire, Wisconsin?

I've heard Eau Claire is really up and coming, and is good for millennials, so there

Chicago, Illinois or Los Angeles, California?

San Diego. Closer to the beach and the mountains. Plus LA is 2 hrs away if I want to visit another city. However Atlanta if I couldn't afford San Diego.

Also Huntsville, AL over Tuscaloosa

Barrow, AK or Nome, AK?

Both of these are in AK. Barrow sounds colder. I'll go with Nome.

Chattanooga, TN or Boise, ID?
