Albuquerque, NM or Salt Lake City, UT?

Salt Lake, because I lived there in 90/91 and LOVED IT! What a nice city! It still has an air pollution problem, though.

White Bear Lake, MN or Waukesha, WI

White Bear Lake, MN

Grew up nearby just 15 miles away, so am familiar. WBL is one of the best Twin Cities suburbs IMO. Has a nice, walkable downtown. Still know some people in that area and also have a few relatives in western Wisconsin (that are much closer to WBL than Waukesha).

Another MN vs. WI choice:

Mankato, MN or Wausau, WI ?

Well, I love Mankato. My dog was born on a farm just outside of Mankato! I've never been to Wausau.

Hmmmm

Springfield, IL or Springfield, MA?

Springfield MA. I'd much rather be in the northeast than in a smaller city in the Midwest.

Buffalo or Cincinnati?

Cincinnati. Better growth as of right now, less than 2hrs from Columbus.

Hunter's Point, San Francisco or Lower Bottoms, West Oakland?

I'm going to make the unusual choice and pick West Oakland, because my memories of visiting the excellent Oakland Museum are wonderful, and I still have a quilt book from their bookshop. And when I went to SF I was too poor to pay for parking.

Wichita, KS or Wichita Falls, TX?

Well, I used to live in the DM area (Ames) and it's a perfectly decent city, but I'm going to choose Greensboro because I've never been there but have ancestors who lived there for a couple of generations.

Hugo, OK or Peru, IN?

I like both cities, but I'll pick Memphis here because it's smaller and less polluted.

Oak Harbor, WA or Bar Harbor, ME?
