Definitely New Glarus, which is in a very pretty area. Lindsborg is too close to Wichita, which is the most horrible small city in the entire United States (although Guymon, OK cited above is hell on earth, unless you just like the stench of massive feed lots - cow dung and terrified animals and blood.)

Virginia City, MT or Virginia City, NV?
Virginia City, NV. A little bit more populated, Less isolated, & in-between Reno and Carson City.

St.Louis, MO or New Orleans, LA?

Are you talking about Cheyenne, WY?

I choose Buenos Aires. Much more variety and a world class city.

Stillwater, MN or Stillwater, OK?

Stillwater, MN or Stillwater, OK?
Stillwater, MN

Very beautiful town with nice Victorian architecture on the St. Croix River at the MN/WI border. Great fall color area. Good shopping, dining and recreation. Good walking town. Visited in early October 2005. At the eastern edge of the Twin Cities region. Would put me near several people I know in MN & WI. Don't know anyone in Oklahoma.

Las Cruces, NM or Norman, OK?

Paducah, KY or Parkersburg, WV?

Paducah, because of the wonderful, world renowned quilting museum there: The National Quilt Museum. https://quiltmuseum.org/
