Traverse City. What a beutiful location. All around the area. It's like coastal New England, Napa Valley, and small town Midwestern all rolled into one. I love it there.

Atlanta or Nashville?

Atlanta. It's just so much more cosmopolitan, with an enormous skyline, a surprisingly large and well used subway, and the world's busiest airport, making it easy to fly overseas. Also, it's only two hours away from Chattanooga,, less than two hours even if you're in Atlanta's Northern suburbs.

Naperville, Illinois or Irvine, CA?

Hmm... I think Tucson would have better amenities but the summers would be a little too extreme for me.
Reno is a decent enough city by itself and the proximity to Northern California would be a huge plus, so Reno it is.

Grand Junction, CO or Medford, OR?

St. Louis. Seems like it would have more a distinct culture, night life, and employment opportunities.

Elizabeth, NJ or Hammond, IN?

Elizabeth, because it's an inner suburb of NYC, which is more interesting than Chicago.

Idaho Falls, Idaho or Mandeville, Louisiana? And why?
