Alpine, TX vs. Bend, OR
Alpine (and nearby Marfa) looks like a cool area, but Bend is more scenic and has more to do and less isolated.

Sweetgrass, MT or Fort Kent, ME?

Fort Kent, ME. It looks much greener and Quebec City, Canada isn't very far away, but then again, Glacier NP isn't very far from Sweetgrass. I'd still stay Fort Kent, ME.

Fort Myers, FL vs. Ann Arbor, MI

Fredericksburg by far. The hill country is beautiful and full of culture, less humid, no risk of hurricanes, quicker access to San Antonio, Austin and Big Bend.

Columbus, OH vs. Fresno, CA

Kihei... I stayed there for my honeymoon and really enjoyed that part of Maui. It's very down to earth but still has a lot if great dining and drinking options.

Bronx, NY or Prince George County, MD?

PGC. I like the DC area a lot. Wouldn't want to live in any area of NYC.

Rochester, NY or Grand Rapids, MI?
