Beautiful coastal town with very nice historic downtown and a nice sized Div I college (UNC-Wilmington)
Columbia SC or High Point NC?
Columbia. One of the more underrated small metros, IMO. Nice economy, really low cost of living, not far from beaches/mountains/Atlanta/Charlotte, and a good bit to do for an area that size.

Ft. Worth, TX vs. St. Paul, MN
I like the DFW and MSP metros a lot. I've been to FW a little more than SP. I like FW a little more. There's so much to do and I like the climate better.

St. Petersburg, FL or Ft. Lauderdale, FL?
St. Petersburg, FL for sure. I definitely like the Gulf side of Florida more.
Santa Fe even though ABQ's the state's principal city. More character, more interesting architecturally, more interesting art and culture scene.
