Omaha. It's one of the best medium sized metros in the nation. Has a lot going for it.
Erie, PA or Duluth, MN?
Was surprised to see that Erie typically gets more snow than Duluth. I'd still choose Erie mainly due to being less isolated within its own region of the country.

Lawrence, KS or Columbia, MO?
Both are nice college towns, but I'll choose Lawrence. It's close to Kansas City and all of its offerings.
Probably Salem because it doesn't get quite as much rain(too much rain is depressing IMO). Salem is also a bit bigger too.
Boulder, CO or Santa Barbara, CA?
