Now there is someone who carries actual prestige. But where is Tesla HQ'd? Where did Elon go to school? Where is the real brain power behind the car revolution?

The Kardashians have zero to do with the film industry, or the Oscars, or anything related to glamour.

Space X is based in Hawthorne and Hyperloop technologies is based in the Arts District of DTLA. It's not all about Tesla when it comes to Elon Musk

But that is exactly the "glamour" that Los Angeles, California sells. That is the celeb culture people actually travel there to see *vomits*

Detroit, actually. 90% of the decisionmakers for the auto industry are based in suburban Detroit.

Wow, you're so above that. We're very impressed you're not taken in by celebrity culture.

If you want average Joes working in cube farms, and no risk of anything celebrity-related, Topeka is waiting for you.

the fact that I am not infatuated with celebrities means that a cube farm in Topeka, Kansas is the right place for me?

I am done. I don't know if you what prestige is.

Basically, yeah. If you really can't stand the presence of celebrity culture, and your delicate sensibilities are offended by the presence of famous people, you need to find some bland nowheresville where you will never be at risk crossing paths with anyone of note.

Better not hang out anywhere near the Bay Area either. MC Hammer is from the Bay Area. Crossing paths with Hammerman would probably be about as traumatic as crossing paths with Kim K.

oh no thats pretty cool. 4,000 employees is quite a lot for a company like that. Doesn't LA have a lot of aerospace industry jobs? I agree with you that is something to focus on.
