Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Oklahoma?

Obviously, it would be a wash between DFW and Houston by that stretched definition of West Coast.

Absolutely funny that Aspen, Albquerque, Boise, and Billings even got votes in this while Salt Lake City, also at the bottom of the pile, is a Delta Airlines hub with an international airport, has hosted an Olympics, is financially very solvent, has a large manufacturing sector to create a host of middle income jobs.

Who voted for Billings? LMAO. Honolulu and Anchorage should be on here, not that any of them make the top of the list, but they deserve to be in the discussion. I think Phoenix wins, with Denver a close second...

San Diego is probably is the best city listed as far as living in a cool city but the more powerful city is a toss up between Phoenix and Denver.
