These were originally on the list, but I couldn't remember any other shows in Minneapolis in Cincinnati.

Can you?

Which TV show is best known for its location?
Which show do characters reference to local places most?
Which show’s location and episodes seem most realistic as far as setting?

*Do NOT vote for your favorite TV show
*Do NOT vote for a TV show solely because it is set in your city
*CSI and NCIS series were not included
Neither That 70's Show nor Step By Step is set in Milwaukee. Sabrina, the Teenage Witch is not set in Boston.

No Mary Tyler Moore Show? (Minneapolis)

The OP is not saying vote for one city, he/she is saying vote for one show in EACH city that the particular city is known for, hence the multiple answer poll format.

I voted for:

Matlock-Atl
Cheers-Boston
Family Matters-Chicago
Walker, Texas Ranger-Dallas
Dynasty-Denver
Sister Sister-Detroit
Hawaii Five-O-Honolulu
Baywatch-LA
Miami Vice-Miami
That 70s Show-Milwaukee
Seinfeld-NYC
Full House-San Fan
Greys Anatomy-Seattle

I feel like the answers will vary, depending on how old the poster is and the kind of TV shows one watches

There aren't many. I believe Coach was set in Minneapolis. Mystery Science Theater 3000 debuted on public access in Minneapolis, and although the show is obviously "set" in outer space, they reference Minneapolis pretty frequently.

There are quite a few movies set in the Twin Cities, though, if you wanted to expand the poll or do a new one.

Again, though, That 70's Show is not even set in Milwaukee. I would definitely vote Happy Days for Milwaukee.

That's 70's Show was somewhere fictional in Wisconsin.

Point Place. It was a fictional town, but was not in Milwaukee. It could have been near Kenosha or Green Bay, but definitely not Milwaukee.

Some of these maybe should be done by state instead of city? Minnesota would definitely add Coach as well as Little House on the Prairie. Wisconsin might add a few, too.

Guys there are literally thousands of TV shows, it's asking a little much to keep wanting to amend this list... I mean you think SF only has 2 TV shows??

or 37 shows set in philly lol. I really do feel that Always Sunny is the essential funny philly show. American Dreams was a good show to if you ever saw it. It was about what the city was like in the 50s' when American Bandstand was in its hayday.
