same here... I'd prefer DFW metro, HOU metro, then ATL
but HOU core, ATL core.. don't really care for DAL core if your talking within loop 635... I'll pass

The way I remember it back in the late 90s was DC was known as Chocolate City.

Nowadays, I know Atlanta is very popular for young black professionals.

Just curious, but would or could smaller areas that have a relatively Black educational attainment and that has seen population growth be view as a "Mecca" or magnet area for Black folks?

Yes they do and it has been mentioned in this thread.

On another note, is there another state where its Blackest CDP/municipality(median household income is $103,000 (09-13 census info) and Blackest zip code(median household income around $84,000 for Blacks (08-12 info) are middle class like NY State? I'm thinking that Maryland may be another state that would fit, but was curious.
