Ft Lauderdale. Ft Lauderdale vs San Antonio should not even be a contest. Ft Lauderdale is beautiful while San Antonio not so much.

Fort Lauderdale might have access to the shore, but as far as cost of living it's very pricey and not many jobs.. expensive housing and rather be a place to visit than live..
San Antonio is more of a home feel, less expensive housing/apartments and great places nearby also like the Hill Country, believe it or not but MUCH better Suburbs and Residential areas, Lots of Jobs here, close to Austin another prime location and being the capital, Riverwalk in the downtown, lots of entertainment too like Sea World, Six Flags, NBA team, great places to Eat and Drink and people might say it's 'hot" but huh.... where is it NOT hot in the South? common.. lol and more over San Antonio has pretty much growing opportunities in job market and great place to either start off or settle in, as some have in the Hill Country Region on the North/Northwest side of the San Antonio.
