Lol.

A forbes article. Thoe aren't stats.
This isn't even about the super rich. It never was.

It's about the the MEDIAN home prices of the metro area.

What the millions of residents people choose to pay to live there. Not a few super rich guys.

LA Metro real estate prices are much higher, so it's more desirable.

10 Million more people decided to call it home. That's not a small difference. One is highly favored over the other.

I dont know what to tell you.

It also has 10 million more people living in it.
LA is more desirable for the poor and middle class but less desirable for the super elites

Miami is poorer than LA buddy.

There's been stats for that too. Check the iincomes.

METRO MIA MEDIAN HOME 227,000

LA COUNTY (10 MILLION) 506,000.

People who can't afford LA likely move to Florida since it's cheaper.

So if you average my numbers, it comes out to:

5.9 million dollars a home (average) listing price. If we consider closing to be a whopping half of the listing price, that's still 2.95 million.

So their average of 2.7 million is looking very low.

Of course the reason is their average was computed in 2014, these listings are from 2015. They also subtracted South Pointe from Miami Beach's listings.

So Astral, basically you are joke but you know that

Even if this asinine statement was true, your just saying that 99% prefer LA vs 1% who prefer Miami.

Funny thing is though, it's not even true.

Miami doesn't even make the top 10 in the world.

Or if you look at where the worlds billionaires live, LA has 25 while Miami doesn't make the top 20.

Then why is Miami so much more poor? It's one of the poorest major cities in the US with the lowest wages?

It sounds like there is more trash living there than wealthy.

OP,

It sounds like you are a young person still living at home with your parents. Do you have job skills, a college degree, or a plan? Both Florida and California offer some cool exciting places to live. Neither however, will magically make life better or more fulfilled simply by moving there. If you don't already have the skills to earn a good living why not focus on that for a few years while you have people nearby to rely on. It will make a difference in the rest of your life.
