Midtown Atlanta wins all the categories. Midtown Houston is pretty much brand new and most of the development is within the last 10 years or so. It's still developing as we speak. There really is no comparison.

Midtown Houston is booming like crazy and will soon be something great but as of now it is no match for midtown Atlanta. A better comparison would be uptown Houston or uptown Dallas. I would still give Midtown Atl the edge over the two uptowns because of the proximity to downtown and associated benefits like universities, the edge in walkability and transport and in entertainment.

Uptown Houston is nice but PT is lacking and it would benefit more if it wasn't 5+ miles from downtown the medical center and the major schools.

There's some older stuff in Midtown too. Right? I don't remember it being all new development.
