More like your surperiority complex towards the city of Chicago, or any other place that isn't New York, shows in every Chicago thread that has been made on this forum. This thread was actually very very decent before you came in and tried to bash the city. Chicago as a city does not feel inferior to no city. It is second city to none. Why should it feel inferior to any other city anyway?

Chicago does not seem southern at all. Remember you have AA that migrated north from Mississippi and Arkansas! Some of them still have their accents just like DC, Bmore, and Philly. NY and Boston are the only cities that have abandoned their southern slang all together IMO!

I've been to both, but Chicago's downtown is much more vivrant. The atmosphere in Chicago is as close as it get to NYC. If you're moving there, make sure you try the deep dish pizza.

Well I already been to Chicago before but we're talking about the city as a whole. Not just the downtown area.

Chicago does not feel inferior to any city, how could it?

Neverheless pace of Chicago is nothing like the East Cost city pace...

Like I said before, people, talk, act, drive slower than on the East Coast.

Philly is much faster than Chicago.
