Agreed, but I see where imaterry is coming from. The racial parallels are obvious, but SA also has that hills vs. valley set up, similar to LA. Throw in a few palm trees and Spanish rooftops and parts of town do look like a poor man's SoCal.

Houston is what you get when you mix Los Angeles with the Southeast.

The most similar major city to Los Angeles in Texas is actually El Paso.

At the end of the day, if we are being serious, no major city in Texas is similar to LA aside from the traffic.
