Im guessing this thread is about just large cities? If it wasnt than you could include like 20 cities around NYC and other NE cities.

I guess I would say:

1. NYC - 8 million + people, of course it's the most urban city in the country
2. Chicago - 2.8 million + people, tons of big buildings, traffic, density, etc. makes it the second contender.
3. Boston - You know why
4. San Francisco - Another given
5. Philly
6. Baltimore
7. DC
8. St. Louis
9. Cleveland
10. Denver... sort of

Seattle is definitely more urban than Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston and Phoenix.

I certainly wasn't saying Seattle is more or less urban than LA, Dallas, Houston or Phoenix....but that doesn't mean any of these cities are urban enough to crack the top ten. Neither do Denver and Cleveland strike me as urban enough for the top ten.
