I can't decide which one i'd choose to be my answer. LA has Hollywood to pressure Californians to be in top physical shape. Florida is very beach centric and the population probably has more proximity and access than your average Californian.

Hawaii has alot of fit attractive women but boy are the men fat slobs. It's more accepting in their culture to pig out on Hawaiian BBQ.

I think it depends on where you are in the two cities/metros.

Where are you more likely to be fat-shamed?

The internet.

To be honest, I don't think it's neither.

Agreed.
A lot of Hollywood, especially south of the Hollywood Hills, and over toward Thai Town (eastern end of Hollywood).. is working class Hispanic. Lot of the people there are built like ordinary, out-of-shape Americans. It's not really a vain or glamorous area.

I can't speak to Miami, I've never been there..

Miami is the worse of the two by far.

Miami metro is full of the same group of people.
It also has far more retirees.

Only a couple/tiny areas would be considered glamrous.

La/oc has more of those types of places. Easily.

Can't speak for Miami but as far as LA goes, I completely agree. The LA area does have tons of fitness fads, diet fads, etc., along with fitness-obsessed people who are really into that stuff. But it also has a lot of fat people, including the "fat and fabulous"/"goddess" types. I think it would just depend on your neighborhood and social circle.
