not as Diverse Culturally but

I'd say while Chicago is pretty liberal, I wouldn't quite say top 5. I'd say there are some cities that edge out Chicago for how liberal it is, such as Washington, DC and Boston. And if you look at election results, one would clearly see there still are some moderates and conservatives in Chicago. Former mayor Rahm Emanuel was more like a moderate than a liberal, and I'd say the same about Lightfoot.

While I agree, it’s metro is more blue(by a tiny bit) compared to NYC, which is frequently called one of the most liberal cities.

And while it’s a lot smaller compared to other metros, Madison, Wisconsin is another liberal powerhouse that kept Wisconsin competitive in these trump years despite so much of the state going Republican like Iowa.
