NIMBY kept MARTA out of Gwinnett County. They are talking about it now but no immediate plans.

To clarify my statement. None of the cities within the core counties around Atlanta's Fulton County has over 100,000. Sandy Springs would be in Fulton.

Dekalb, Cobb and Gwinnett are all counties with 700,000+ residents. No one city is larger than 65,000.

No preference, but one is near the ocean, so that one.

FBC has three major areas.
First- Sugar Land- Asian ethnoburb about 150,000-200,000 people live in Sugar Land and its environs.
Missouri City- African American Ethnoburb often grouped with Sugar Land, has about 100,000-150,000 people who live in the area and its environs.
About 300,000+ total. The lower middle class areas are around North Mo-City, Stafford, Maadows Place and Northern parts of Sugar Land. These are probably some of the most diverse areas of the county, because middle class Asians, Whites, Hispanics and Blacks dominate this area. Richer areas tend to be a mixture of White, Asian and Hispanic unless it is in Missouri City.

Katy/North Richmond- 200,000-300,000
Probably the least diverse area of the county yet the biggest racial group is Whites with between 45%-60% of most neighborhoods in this area. the poorer parts are the eastern parts of North Richmond near Mission Bend and Four Corners. But most of these areas are mostly lower middle class.I live in this area.

The Rest of The County- Involves rural towns and the city of Rosenberg and near rural suburban areas of Richmond. About 100,000 people live here.
This area especially around Rosenberg si pretty diverse for a rural area.

This is best explained by School District maps-
Fort Bend ISD- Sugar Land/ Mo City
Katy ISD- Katy/Cinco Ranch
Lamar ISD- Richmond/Rosenberg

Take in mind Fort Bend County is the most diverse county RACIALLY in the U.S with almost a perfect 25% split between all the races with Asian and Blacks being the smallest at about 20-25%. The only thing we lack in terms of race is a large Native American population.
