If you like "thick" women, Memphis wins hands down.

Friendlier people and maybe better food in Memphis
Weather is definately a plus as Milwaukee gets way too much cold and snow for my taste

Which city is better?

Economy Milwaukee

Schools-Tie

People Memphis is way more friendlier

Job Growth-Memphis has higher job growth

Future outlook-Memphis job growth will be higher even though much lower GDP

Crime-Milwaukee

Culture-Memphis.Blues, BBQ and Southern charm

Activities-Milwaukeee.The Lake and all other lakes in the area and better art museums and concert halls

Shopping-tie

Development-Milwaukee but only by a hair

Overall Id pick Milwaukee over Memphis but its not a landslide for me as its too cold in Milwaukee

Yikes, both are awful choices. Memphis has the crime thing, Milwaukee is a depressing drinking town that's overshadowed by Chicago and Minneapolis. At least with MKE they have a cool bar scene at that.

Thats not fair.they are not "awful" choices. There are better choices but to act like these are miserable cities is not accurate.
Milwaukee has a great waterfront and craszy festivals. If you love watersports then there is no better major city.
Memphis has great music scene and food. Some really great spot in the tourist area and its in TN so great mountains are only a few hours away

I love Milwaukee...used to live there. Depressing? Not on your life.

Milwaukee is extremely livable for the most part. Memphis is cool but it needs more work. It's a good authentic southern city, unlike the faster-growing ones that are so unappealing to me.

Been to both. Milwaukee 100 times over. In fact, this is unfair to Memphis, which while I like, but isn't even the same class of city.
