Chicago and Dallas are both at the either end of the spectrum when it comes to weather. Dallas is known to have brutal and oppressive summers and Chicago is known for its harsh winters.

That's probably not necessary....all one has to do is look at averages, and you can find those easily online. I'm just saying, posting extremes isn't a true picture. I lived in Chicago, and some winters are pretty mild. We had winters where there was barely any snow. All in all, there are the occasional bad storms, but otherwise, it's pretty benign.
