Chicago and Dallas are both at the either end of the spectrum when it comes to weather. Dallas is known to have brutal and oppressive summers and Chicago is known for its harsh winters.

Which is more bearable and why? If you had to choose which would you prefer?

Both are unbearable but If i had to suffer through one I'd choose Dallas summers. Prefer Chicago summer over Dallas winters though

Why oh why ..... The irony was that Chicago actually had a MILD winter after this chosen date with more extreme cold.

In clicking on the video out of curiosity? I think I rep'ed the post.... mistake on my part for sure.

I honestly don't see the big deal so far with Dallas summers. It is hot I grant you but far from unbearable IMHO.

It really has a lot to do with the duration of the heat. The heat can last until September and sometimes early October.

That's probably not necessary....all one has to do is look at averages, and you can find those easily online. I'm just saying, posting extremes isn't a true picture. I lived in Chicago, and some winters are pretty mild. We had winters where there was barely any snow. All in all, there are the occasional bad storms, but otherwise, it's pretty benign.
