1. Please look up the word 'urbanity'

2. Jersey City and Hudson County are high density suburbs.

In fact" Jersey City is rated the 9th best suburb for millenials in NJ.

That's so awesome

You can be immature all you want, but it doesn't change that Oakland is a sprawl city

Awe how cute. JC is definitely one of the most densely populated suburbs I know of so kudos, but it's a still a bit too bland and dependent on NYC as a reason to exist to be as 'urban' as Oakland tho, A for effort JC-maybe some day

I have no reason to defend JC, I'm not from there and I never go there, however in being objective I can tell you it is clearly more urban than Oakland.

More densely populated? Absolutely. Congrats. Gold Star for you.

It's both more dense and more urban. What is urban about neighborhoods filled with detached single family houses?

There is a high correlation between density and urbanity, it's part of the reason NYC and Houston are nowhere near on the same level of urbanity

Haha Gotcha.

Now that youve separated the two( 'urban' and 'density'), tell us how exactly Jersey City is more 'urban'?

Haha there is ZERO correlation between density and 'urbanity'

Definition of urbanity
plural urbanities
1 :the quality or state of being urbane
2 urbanities plural :urbane acts or conduct

Definition of urbane

:notably polite or polished in manner

Trust me. In the arena of urbanity, Oakland runs circles around Joisee City. LOL

Just one example. Oakland has 6 restaurants recognized by the Michelin Guide, including Commis which was awarded 2 stars( that's excellent btw)

Hudson County: 0

#polished

Not sure what this means but like I said, higher population density notwithstanding, Jersey City is a actually a bit sleepy vs Oakland.

Have you even been to both?

LOL urbane indeed.
